:sas2: Rockets won that trade got something of value out of him before he was worthless

You call Bradley, Olynyk and a draft swap value when they were holding out for a first until they had no other choice :mjlol:

They would have been better off keeping Levert or Allen :russ:

Don't know if he can get that $22M per year... but he wants to be in Miami.

How's their cap space looking like? I imagine they wouldn't wanna use their cap space on someone who can't even play...he's gonna have to take the vet min in 2022-23

Miami Heat 2021-22 Salary Cap

They can have as much as $40M in room. Dragic and Iggy contracts are team options that they will probably decline. They have Jimmy, Bam, Herro, Precious, and Okpala. That's it.

The cap space goes down if Bam makes All NBA Team right?

With Joker and Embiid on first team, that leaves open the Center spot on 3rd team for him.

Lebeet is overrated and Olynyk is better than Allen. Olynyk averaging 20 ppg in Houston

20 PPG in Houston and where has that gotten them :lolbron:

Dude is benefiting from the opportunity and not because he’s become a better player. Don’t let the numbers fool you.

Yeah, I believe his cap hit would go up. He signed a $163M extension... could go to $195M

I think a team like the Knicks could offer Dipo a 2 yr incentive-laden contract

The FA market this summer looks pretty average too. Here are the top names this summer:

  • Evan Fournier
  • Norman Powell
  • Kyle Lowry
  • Andre Drummond
  • Devonte Graham (RFA)
  • Lonzo Ball (RFA)
  • Jarrett Allen (RFA)
  • TIm Hardaway Jr
  • Kawhi (likely re-upping)
  • Dennis Schroder
  • DeMar DeRozan
  • Gary Trent Jr
I dunno if they'd want to spend big money on any of them. Maybe they'd sign Kyle and DeMar on short term deals

Don’t forget CP3 whose played well enough to opt out of the last year of his deal.

If he's out for a whole year on an recurring injury that he never recovered from in the first place....
I don't see why he would get a deal at all next year. I'm assuming it's some kind of insurance for this
But he'll probably be income-less next year then return to a short prove it deal the year after
