20 minutes of Lavar talking while Melo and Gelo sit with their heads down. The kids faces tell it all. Also confirmed the decision to go to Lithuania was pretty much all Lavar.
I dont see how everyone is ignoring this. I think alot of the dudes praising and hyping Lavar have no positive father figure in their life or never had one so they think this extreme example is true "black fathering". They dont know what proper fathering looks like. Those two boys entire body language looks so unhappy and disconnected. Head straight down, shoulders slumped, hardly any eye contact, a very closed off body language. They looked...small, defeated, no confidence. It goes beyond being nervous or bored. They look unhappy. Couldnt even answer the question about the Lithuania decision which leads me to believe they had no input in the decision at all. It seems like Lavar truly does want whats best for them and I can respect that, but I dont think the boys true deep feelings are being heard. Whether or not they truly want to play Bball is up to them, but I think Lavar should give them more autonomy in how they go about it. Just my opinion, i dont want any dustmites starting up arguments with me:ufdup:

Breh, better players have gone overseas to better leagues and been forgotten. Nobody in here gonna be following 2nd division Lithuanian basketball.

Part of me thinks they aren't going anywhere and did this for the attention and will break the contract soon. Of course if that happens, you'll be in here talking about the genius of Lavar.
There's a mutual clause in the contract that says they can come home after a month.

Seriously, breh is 16 years old don’t Breakfast Club do interviews early in the morning anyway. As a 16 year old, breh would rather be doing something way more interesting
Being on a top hip hop radio show isn't interesting enough for a 16 yr old now?

Lavar got folks saying the wildest stuff:wow:

Cause they hate themselves, and people try to hold them to some sort of standard when all they've ever wanted to do was do their own thing. I respect the fukk out of Lavar Ball.
It’s not that deep :mjlol: a lot of the BBB backlash on this site is because some of these dudes stan him like the father they’ve never had, like he can do no wrong. At the end of the day the only brother to have success did it the conventional way as much as stans want to act like he didn’t.

I agree. The Ball family is unique because everybody’s trashes Lavar but it’s his brother who is the business and forms the relationships. Lavar just a mouthpiece and a damn good one. I get you. But shyt I’d reach out to somebody like Steve Stoute ..it can be done

BINGO........No one can do the damn thing without help but he's doing it with family who are making these moves in stealth

Eh. LaMelo is 16 and LiAngelo is 19. Trust me when I say that teenagers all around the world have the same body language. Assuming that the respect thing is true, this is how Black families role. They may not be super happy, but if they trust their father you move forward. If it doesn't work they'll do something else. That's how families work. I have had major disagreements with my parents. But, if at the end of the day you know deep down that they love you and would be willing to die for you in a second you go along with the flow. Also, let's say things go bad. The Balls will still be fine, because people will want to watch it on there tv show. I know I'll definitely be watching the episodes that take place in Lithuania. That's going to be better than fiction. I know nothing about Lithuania. And I want to see what happens when two polar opposites collide. This is how business is done. Two potential paths and both of them leave you better off.
