Why does so much fukkery happen at that mall? Isn’t it like a flagship mall of Georgia? In a nice neighborhood too at that. What gives?

It’s a lot of factors. Gang violence, homicides and deadly crime is up all over the city (and most major cities BTW), last year’s riots and break ins have contributed to this kind of lawlessness that hasn’t fully ended. And yes Buckhead is the richest, nicest part of ATL and Lenox is the biggest nicest mall in the SE (outside of Aventura and Dadeland in SE FL).

The city has instituted some measures to deal with the violence, there’s actually metal detectors and Atlanta Police at the entrances into the mall for Phipps and Lenox Square, but clearly they need to do more. I work near Lenox (like a mile away) and it’s never been this bad before
