It’s perfectly common in America for a family to have little to no real wealth and still live in a normal suburb or rural area.

Guess it depends on your definition of ‘the hood’ but saying most black peoples are from the hood is some disingenuous Trump shyt. That’s the shyt white girls at brunch say when they talk about the uptick in crime.
Suburbs can be the hood too

Threads like these always bring out the people who would have supported the ‘94 crime bill.

Parenting and grand parenting is a major issue in our community. It used to be that grandparents were a safety net. Now grandma is on onlyfans.

this post shows how you have no clue on what you’re talking about

Bro ain’t deserve that but it’s telling how much :mjpls: you see in these threads
Apparently systemic racism is inconsequential compared to rap and social media
Maybe we should go back to peaceful times like the 70s and 80s when rap was less prevalent and crime amongst impoverished communities was virtually unheard of:troll:
You know everything was perfect before the 2000’s breh :troll:
Barely any crime :troll:
No demonic shyt :troll:
No gangs :troll:

All that’s going on now is a new phenomenon :troll:

We have to address the terrible parenting in the black community.

Yes poverty and systematic racism is largely to blame but this comes down to bad parenting and a lack of male figures.

The village is broken at the core....

There was always checks and balances even in the hood..

Someone's grandma or even the older drug dealers would tell a young nikka he doing too much...

Now the grandma is too busy trying to be young and the older drug dealers gassing these young nikkas up for the fukkery...

We are in some dark times

There are so many facets to this problem it's almost insurmountable. Economics, parenting, government, policing, social media, societal pressure, etc. This has been generations in the making. I'm surprised it's not worse. And not just in ATL. All over. I wonder when we'll reach the tipping point. Rich are getting richer, poorer are getting poorer.

I don't even know where to begin. School too boring to keep kids interested. Teachers don't give a fukk. Parents keep their kids out the house during the day cause they don't want to deal with them. College graduates in debt, low paying wages. I think this is just the beginning. No amount of parenting will fix this. The hypnotic charm of the environment is too much. No amount of money will fix this either, not without the right people in place. Corruption runs too high though. It's been a long time in the making. Cacs have made the game rigged and unplayable.

Is Stone Crest Mall as bad as Lennox?

Hell not now.

A few years ago kids were doing kid shyt and committing petty crimes like theft from stores and fukking in the movie theaters. Then shyt went Fast Five levels of fukkery and somebody tried to DRIVE INTO the mall food court area and steal the ATM machine.

This was like 2015 if i’m not mistaken. It’s calmed down since then. Stonecrest is just regular now
