That's cool and all but take a minute to consider that purchasing UHD Blu-Rays is your only real source of 4K content at the moment. Then take into consideration that the majority of your consumption is more live TV and streaming. Purchasing the S doesn't make a lot of sense.

Most of the Netflix Originals are 4K, there's a 4K streaming app, and there's also Amazon 4K. It's not a lot, but it's worth $400 to me. I was going to buy a 4K Blu-Ray player anyway, so this just made it easier for me.

No you idiot. Blu ray isn't the only 4k media options out there. Streaming is the main source for many 4K streams, particularly Netflix.
