There's not really much coverage on NFL training camps going on, wouldn't even be surprised if most people knew they even started. Only discussion about the NFL I mainly see is COVID related.
Back in May/June when the Last Dance along with sports events like Woods/Manning vs Brady/Mickelson and NASCAR returning it seems viewership for sports was much higher compared to now. It may be attributed to several factors (people spending there time more away from tv/home, the quantity of NBA games on tv, etc.)

That's what I'm saying. Numbers for those events was HIGH AF. Last Dance was when people were still mainly taking quarantine seriously so I get that but the Brady/Manning golf tourney and NASCAR was going on as the country started (stupidly) reopening so it had me convinced the NBA and MLB numbers would be through the roof even with the phased openings. I'm legit surprised the numbers aren't higher.

Election year, pandemic, cable cutting, tv ratings will go down for anything that has younger viewers and tv ratings will go up for anything that has older viewers. NFL rating will be through the roof if they play.

The ratings are low because the product is bad. NBA basketball has been trash the last couple of years. People naturally don't want to watch a bad product. Also the bubble doesn't help. It looks like summer league basketball instead of the NBA.

Yall got your hopes high thinking the pandemic would change people's attitudes on the current state of the NBA.

Millions of people from all over the world that are fans of the NBA are too busy stressing about how to keep food on the table and a roof over their head. Add in the fact that families are stressed out on how to deal with their kids schooling. They are not rushing to the TV to watch fukkin sports. Also bars and happy hour is dead. I use to always hit up happy hour to catch the games.

No lil kid. The NBA just sucks right now. Summer is typically when people are most starved for sports. If the NBA still had a great product people would watch. You don't get it cause all you know is the wack version of the NBA that exists now.

I'll happily be old and having the chance to witness when life was wonderful in the late 90s and early 2000s. You enjoy your youth during this hell hole of a time periods.

Kids who grew up in 90s and early 2000s definitely won in the grand scheme of things cause we saw hip hop and basketball when it was at its best.
