The Vikings offensive line got easily destroyed , darnold got pressed and tackled many times by the rams defense. They didn’t give him time and room to read the situation and make plays.

He held the ball for 4.73 seconds on average on this sacks and according to stats had 23 (!) off target throws in this game. The cac refused to check down the ball or throw it away instead he’d panic and run backwards and it be like a 12 yard sack and the possession would be done.
He left a lot of plays on the field. He is who he is. Ultimately this game saved the franchise a lot of money that can be reinvested in other positions once JJ is back.

That honestly might have been the worst quarterback performance in a playoff game I've ever seen in my entire life.
And I turned it off after midway of the third quarter.
At least Jake Delhomme or Carson Palmer who has god-awful performances also had really good ones too. This was an atrocious debut. Bo Nix looked better but his team simply was just overwhelmed. At least he kept his composure

Why would i be pressed? My team is in the playoffs, the only thing I’m slightly irritated about is that we have to play a much more difficult team in the Rams instead of y’all garbage ass Vikings. I wanted us to face the Vikings because I knew it would be an easy path to the NFC championship., It’s just funny proving you wrong after you said I didn’t know what I was talking about due to my prediction that turned out to be true.

But at least dude had gotten to the Super Bowl before that and basically beat the Patriots until that field goal at the end he did his job.
What Sam Darnold did yesterday was indefensible. Dude was rattled on the very first drive.
