getting it snipped and/or the damaged portion shaved instead of a full repair could lead to problems, I don't see the issue with the wording
overall I would consider this rather minor though, it sucks to lose out on a crucial year of rookie development & reps, but purely health-wise, this shouldn't have a bearing on his long term career. The wording is fine, I understand the difference between removal/trimming vs repair, considering how much was invested in him, this move seemed like an absolute no brainer, it just seemed a bit dramatic given the actual injury (nobody expected this to impact his long term career)

Man, so next year will be dude's first full year while Jefferson is probably ready to win now.

That's the real tricky part in all this. You now have to manage expectations.

acting like dude has a potentially terminal illness they are treating :dahell: he popped his meniscus, he should be fine bouncing back

this sucks for Vikings though, and it delays dudes development

this makes me wish the bears would have held onto justin fields, and then flipped him to the vikings so we could have fleeced them in their time of need.
