Dude has is playing some of his best basketball in years. Averaging 11ppg, 5 rbs, 2 asts and shooting 47% from the field at 40 years old with two bad knees.

Just for reference last season he averaged 6 ppg, and the season before that 5 ppg. So he has basically DOUBLED his scoring average at 40.

Although it's most certainly impressive what he's doing at his age, there's two things here you're leaving out:

it's only been 10 games, it's not like he's doubled his average over the course of the entire season - you can't compare the two, especially since he had stretches where he was averaging around 10-11 PPG last season
he only averaged 16.8 minutes last season, he's averaging 27.7 minutes this season

Vince is playing great basketball, I saw the grizziles season opener and he was almost looking as good as he did in Dallas. The last 3 years Vince has gotten minutes he has produced, I think it's testment to his work ethic to still be playing into his 40s.....

Yep, I put that specific point in my post cause I knew someone was gonna question Vince's work ethic. How many players from 1998 - 2000 are still playing today? Vince might not be a gym rat, but theres no way you play till 40 and still be decent without a work ethic....

As a Paul Pierce fan, Im legit pissed. vince carter is still contributing while Pierce is riding the pine.

Paul Pierce can still play.. the clippers were/is just a horrible spot for him.
