Best dunker ever.

Nailed high difficulty dunks, most of them on the first try. Plus he had great showmanship. The kids in the dunk contest nowadays take multiple attempts and when they finally dunk it they look like swagless nerds. Vince could probably enter the dunk contest now and win even though he had a 10 inch vertical. Showmanship goes along way.

Im watchin this video in it's entirety and there are a few takeaways.

1. They need to return to this format, instead of allowing guys to miss 20 times, it will force them to do something they are capable of doing.

2. Craig Sager in regular clothes?

3. It seems like the NBA players are there and involved in a greater capacity. Haven't seem them turn out for the All Star events like that in a while, without looking bored. Even the celebs were on the floor just takin it all in.

4. Vinsanity was 0% hype, his dunks were the real deal. His whole aura while he was dunking was so pure.

5. fukk Kenny for not giving up a 10 on that second dunk.

6. Glad to see the men dressed like men. Not teenage girls.

7. Isaiah Thomas' "It's off the charts! I mean really, you can't score this dude" speech was :dead:

8. The reactions after the elbow in the rim dunk :ohhh::whew::bryan::salute:

9.. Vince did these amazing dunks with stitches in his hand.

10. fukk Kenny for never shutting the fukk up.

It was crazy because Steve Francis had one of the greatest performances ever if you ask me, but it's never talked about because of what Vince did.

He got short man points. He had some sick dunks, and in any other year, he was a winner.

But vince was too ill.

That first dunk was absolutely incredible.

EVERYONE was like :ohhh: as it happened live

:ohhh: during the slow motion replay

:whoo: during another replay at full speed

rinse and repeat 5x...

stackhouse knew he was finished...he could have jumped from the 3 point line and nobody would have cared.

The whole crowd went crazy and I have yet till this day see all the NBA players lose it like they did.

Mutumbo raised his hand to god
Shaq looked like he saw the ice cream truck approaching
Ray Allen lost control of his body for a second
KG had to get up from his seat, Webber had to hold on to him

It was one of the greatest moments in anything sports related in my life.

better dunker than jordan, easily, but cheese eye stans will act like everything vince did in 2000 wasnt just other worldly.

only dunk contest where the 2nd & 3rd place guys would have won damn near any other year.

I don't know anybody that thinks Vince isn't>MJ at dunking.

On another note, this shyt brings me back to a time where there was alot of actual STARS in the league with swag and a cool ass aura about themselves (nh). Iverson,Kobe,T-Mac,Vince,Shaq,KG,Steve Fancis,C Webb etc...not only did you admire their games but it just seems like that entire early-mid 00's generation was cool as fukk to be around.

^^^it was a sweet spot in the nba. post cheese eyes, kinda getting from under his shadow and before all the super self awareness and being too worried about how a potential loss in an exhibition would damage your "brand" *read: ego

now everything is a strategic business move, which i get, but that dont have shyt to do w/ me. im just a fan that wants to see the most exciting dudes jumping real high and dunking real good.
