NXT isn't doing anything that indy/Japanese promotions haven't been doing for the last decade plus.
it always seems like NXT is a way for people to not feel guilty about their WWE bias.
so they carry on like its really a different promotion.
most of their fans wouldnt be watching if it was under different ownership..

My biggest pet peeve is that it frequently turns into a spotfest. It's why I can't stand the Young Bucks.

Segments like that have been going on for a while so it's really not that big of a deal. Plus the segment was like 2 minutes.

Yep..... 1min and 45 seconds too long
But thats the point.... they been doing segments like that for so long but cats be conditioned to look past them but quick to shyt on other companies that may have a segment thats not even a quarter as bad. And low key.... 70% of their segments are just bad on average and its just the same shyt.
Sometimes it feels awkward, Vince and co putting these guys in these positions when they trynna recite something from that script the writers gave them..... with that wack ass punchline that the writers and Vince thought in the writing room "Man this is gonna KILL tonight" only for cats to say it and the crowd gives a minimum response. I just feel bad for them dudes.... I mean suffering succotash!

Wrestling is all about balance. They have to throw in some goofy parts or lighthearted segments along with the serious intense parts. The problem with the WWE is that they're terrible at finding the balance.

I kinda figured Russo who's more about promos and entertainment than in ring stuff would like something cutting edge like Lucha and Cornette who's more about actual wrestling and traditional presentations of the sport to make it seem legit would hate it.
This is not really that surprising even though RoH right now is probably slightly bigger than Lucha
