The dance beats are cool but I also feel like it's too much at the same time. Would be cool if he had some songs with simpler instrumentals.

As it stands I can listen to a few tracks then I gotta take a break to continue. It's not that the songs are bad it's just that it can be too much in one go

This is his "cash/wider audience" grab album. Coming off Summertime 06, I can see why people aren't feeling this at all. Its a huge departure for what he was doing early on in his career. On another note, I kinda saw it coming after that feature he had on Flumes "Skin" album. I'm probably in the minority, but I like the album.

Just finished listening, this is definitely a performance album. It's a festival type album.

I actually liked this. Outside of that random singing feature on "Yeah Right" ,
Kendrick verse was
"Party People" was absolutely TERRIBLE

My favorite songs were "Big Fish" (noticed he didn't curse that entire song ), "Alyssa Interlude", SAMO & BagBak

Definitely not better than "Summertime '06" which I thought was a masterpiece.

I'm surprised by the reviews this album is getting.

This is super average and just plain weird ass production.

Big Fish the only true great song.

One with the Kendrick feature is decent and also BagBak.

The rest is trash, and I'm a big Vince fan. He needs the right production.

What is it getting good reviews?

Seen some review articles and they were all good. Checked out metacritic to see the score and it's like 89 or something right now. That's ridiculously high for a very mediocre album.

But they live for this weird shyt anyway and try to pass it off as artistic and genre bending.

You're right, white kids on twitter are loving this album.
