I like the sound of the album after a few listens. I'm not sure how much meat there is on the bones though.

Really like Vince...

This may take a few listens to grow on me. I'm hoping it does, but on first listen I'm not sure it will.

After some listens

Its underwhelming but theres some good.

Underwhelming in terms of me looking for a vince album that meets the quality of time 06 and Prima

Good for background music, gym tunes, and there r dope ass tracks - 745, Big Fish, Yeah Right(kendrick with a good verse and not rambling:ohhh:)

Still haven't listened. I didn't like bagbak or the song single, but I fukk with rain comes down heavy. I know this is afrofuturism and all that shyt, but does the album lean more towards rain come down or bagbak?

I like the progression that's coming with him getting bigger.

Can his next album be one with schoolboy q, though? Ride out is still so fire.

i like him...but the majority of Vince music does nothing for me.

Sad seeing comments like this when you consider the history of these genres. Black people created house music. Black people have had a huge hand in UK garage. Detroit techno...same thing. That's what the album sounds like.

Vince basically re-entering a (mentally) gentrified genre of music and black people asking him why he's over there. Breh it's the shyt your uncles probably got your aunt pregnant to.
:what:

Not saying if you don't like it you stupid. Nah...music is music, I see why this shyt gonna turn some people off. But please god don't call this shyt gay or white people music as if we didn't start the wave.

Liking this so far. Only at 745 which is a banger and these instrumentals lowkey fire.

Also preach, I gotta homie out in Africa that makes house music and EDM. It's similar to complaints with TPAB and people calling that boring though he was vibing with legendary black artists.

Shout out to people like Vince, Gambino and Kendrick for going back to styles we created.

Came in for the Kendrick track, he tried to save the track and he rode the beat nice but it was brutal getting there. I never really got the Vince hype. He's supposed to be lyrical but the majority of his tracks aren't lyrical, then he will have these overbearing beats that sound almost like El-P beats, weird enough not to be party beats, but not calm enough for his rapping to take over. I don't get it, someone explain his style to me cuz I want to like him but I can't. :francis:

And I tuned in for the last 3 projects so maybe I'll never get it. :mjcry:
