3 pages in and no mention or posting of Vince shirtless doing that struggle face? I think one of them Ross boys in that pic too...

Cracks me up cuz VY look like he goin in and ain't a FEMALE to be seen in that pic, I laugh everytime...

Dude will get another chance, sucks to say, but he's waiting on an injury...Still baffles me Buffalo has NO QB whatsoever and they won't even consider VY, damn shame...Loved his college career too

They considered VY in training camp in 2012, then they cut him.

Yeah that picture is an all-time classic. Just so much wrong in one photo, reminds me of that little interlude before a song on the first DNX album

Add Brady Quinn, David Carr, etc to that list.

The question is why all these talentless QBs still have jobs except for Vince?

What is different about him?

Because none of those other talentless QB's threw their shoulderpads into the stands and refused to go back into a football game before.

Does that help?

Yeah I remember that...Funny thing is Buff cut Fitzpatrick too so :wtf: going on?

Remember reading a while back about Texas athletes in general being more "soft" than most other colleges...cuz they get coddled and babied while they are there and once they leave they realize how the "real world" works..

He'll get a job before long if you ask me, I mean he's got talent, just need that thing between his shoulders to turn the lights on and put it together...

Vince was an above average qb his last two years in Tennessee. If anybody watched his games, they would of seen that he became a decent accurate thrower who mad better decisions, he rarely threw it as a starter.

Is ball out really the term?

He was Sanchezian without the turnovers.

2006 12 tds/13 picks 66.7 QB rating
2007 9 td's 17 ints 71 QB rating
2008 1 TD 2 ints 64.5 qb rating
2009 10 td's 7 picks 82 qb rating
2010 10 tds 3 picks 98 qb rating

So as a Titan he had 42tds/42 picks ,12 rushing tds and 21 fumbles.

He was pretty bad-mediocre for the majority of his time there. I hardly call that "Balling out". Some of you dudes are too much
He won games. If trent dilfer and jay fiedler could have quite long careers as starters...why not Young?

I tend to believe that's all college athletes though.

I also believe in a little success theory, where people who constantly succeed their whole lives have a real hard time with failure. Guys like VY & Ryan Leaf are so naturally gifted their whole life that they don't have to try really hard to be great at lower levels.

They get to the NFL and they taste failure and they can't cope with it. They don't overcome it they're so used to just relying on talent for them to succeed.

Not saying this is fact, just a feeling I have about dudes who dominate at low levels and then struggle at the top.

Tim Tebow won games too.

But I adressed this earlier in the thread.

Those two you brought up, they had what it takes to be backups, Vince doesn't.

Backups a very valuable position. The backup helps the QB with the reads of the defense when he comes off the field. The backup has to always be ready to step in and play. He has to be emotionally stable.

VY's biggest problems aren't his physical attributes. He doesn't have the emotional stability or the mindset to be a backup QB

pro bowler.

playmaker.

winner.

how can you compare him to mark sanchez?

Add Brady Quinn, David Carr, etc to that list.

i can think of one glaring difference.

Mark my words, If Vince Young gets another starting shot in the league..he will be successful and will be a top 8 QB in the league..

Ive never seen an organization blackball members like the NFL does

If Gerald Green and James White are in the NBA, VY should be in the league

he got cut from buffalo cause of that pending lawsuit coming from some creditor, they were also gonna name buffalo in the suit- nikkas said no dice. cause even though he had a bad game in the preseason vs steelers that wasnt enough to get cut in my opinion.

sad thing is chan gailey probably still wouldnt have played him cause of his love affair with fitzpatrick. i wish he got a legit shot with the bills but it wasn't in the cards. as parcells says, you are what your record says you are. he had a good career w-l record, hope he can find a team.
