Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high

Just look at the amount of gags that were seamlessly strung together and the expressive quality of the animation.

Its amazing how virtually every thing that manifests into this realm is pure at first before being stepped on like a brick and distributed/imitated/duplicated by the masses to new generations that come up with weak product and don't even realize what they're missing as they're caught up in the image.

The implications of this are quite interesting if you extrapolate to things you accept without question as the way it is. Anyway, more classic Simpsons:

Prime Simpsons is my favorite show ever.

Honestly, since my parents never really spoke English, it makes me laugh that this is one of the parts of Americana they admire. LOL. They don't even know what it's about. They're just impressed that I've literally been watching this my ENTIRE life and it's still on.

They have that same sense of awe whenever Back That Azz Up comes on the radio :mjlol:

The Simpsons should have died years ago. That and Family Guy.

Who still watches either show now?
:guilty:

both still has its moments....throw in Bob's Burgers and Animation Domination isn't that bad...not it's glory days...but serviceable

but King of the Hill, Simpsons Family Guy Futurama was one of the GOAT blocks

Weekend at Burnsie's will always be one of my favorite episodes. Homer was high as fukk singing the song Smoke On The Water.

:russ::russ::russ::dead::dead::dead:

Remember when Bart had the church sing "In Gadda Da Vida" as In The Garden Of the Eden

Animation Domination on Fox used to be good.

Woman on the organ was killing! It nearly killed her!

Simpsons will never die. I'm buying the box set when/if they hang it up.
they stopped making physicals for newer seasons..I think they stopped at like S20

and you prob should pick up the older seasons now, especially S3 before they reprint it without the MJ ep (if they haven't already)

I don't agree with people that say it died in 99-00, imo it fell off after the movie. It's a decent show now but nowhere near its prime or the early 00s. I think Family Guy actually had a much sharper decline, but this past season was really good.
