It’s actually disturbing. I’ve had pastors, professors, bosses, “family friends”, my homeboy’s dad hit on my in front of his mother, and his mother apologized to me. The whole crew was silent after that. I’ve been physically attacked for not accepting a dude’s advances and luckily someone was close by and saved me, I’ve been followed, etc.
I blocked out a lot of not so pleasant things that only come to find when I sit and drift off or someone shares their own bad experiences.
They may try to take advantage of less attractive girls and only deal with them behind closed doors, but all this shyt is about old men using their money/status to woo younger women. If you’re too much older, younger women who aren’t whores won’t go for it.

This has been happening forever. It was better/worse back in the day because girls were more protected in traditional homes, but they girls who didn’t have that protection (or who grew up in abusive environments) had no way out, except through marriage, and if their husband was as abusive as the men in their families they literally ended up in the same situation.

You definitely need to have your wits about you nowadays, but you can escape bad situations a lot easier.
