That two black women, academics, serious people, who just happened to cross paths with Fairfax over 15 years ago, 15 years establishing themselves and their reputations, and supported by their peers and communities, would be "co opted" or "turned" by Republican "dark arts/Roger Stone" types is entirely laughable. It's preposterous.

I would bet the house she, and the other accuse have already received dozens of death threats, as did Blasley Ford, and many, of not all women who accuse high profile men of rape/sexual assault/misconduct.

Yeah, the thing is the "evidence", is entirely on the accusers side, without resorting to outlandish conspiracies, and "well you never know" style logic. Come up with a credible scenario, even a plausible one, where both these women have invented these stories. But, the truth is I doubt the sincerity of some of these posters. I think they are "alt right".

She's a highly respect academic, she is a tenured professor, and this will devastate her life. There is no "bag" here, there is no money here.

A long hard road of death threats and accusations. She didn't wake up in February 2019 and decide to cash out a 25 year career to falsely accuse someone. It's absurd.

That don’t mean shyt. Look at the swift boaters and John Kerry. Decorated vets and some of them were on the record praising his service just years before. But election season comes around suddenly some of those guys changed their tune.

The ONLY thing that worries me is the claims of the 2nd accuser telling people at the time she was raped. I want to hear the people who were around them that night had to say.

Y'all are treading in dangerous territory and don't even realize it. As long as there's no burden to prove anything in a court of law you can be accused of literally anything and lose your livelihood because it "sounds reasonable."

And yes, the timing of these political based allegations are always suspicious. For example, notice that when Al Franken resigned the sexual assault allegations against him dried up? I know people are scared to death to question this type of shyt but sometimes you have to think critically.

i always though that Al Franken shyt was suspect, you gonna regign over a picture, how we know she didn't concede before or after, how we know she didn't get paid some money, the only way I saw Al Frankin not fighting it was because they had something bigger
