Lived there for 5 years as a young jit. When I worked for Southwest, I went maybe 4 times in 2 years as an adult.
I’ve always had raw oysters but had the Rockefeller oysters at the acme house.
Ate at mothers and enjoyed the red beans and rice.
Enjoy the city Brother. Be safe and don’t drink too many hurricanes. Willie’s chicken was straight crack to me but I was probably faded. Make sure you try it.

I know you gonna go on Bourbon St. But try Frenchman St too. If you looking for a black owned spot that's off the beaten path try Mondays it's a hip trendy type restaurant in a good area(Mid-City)
