Vlad and Math Hoffa double down on hating FBA. Microphone Check movie wasn’t accurate to them.

It’s pure stupidity and ignorance. I dislike it.

Like I said, the Founding Fathers documentary is filled with the ones who were actually there. The Jamaican born DJ King Charles was in the mix. If you dislike it and think it's ignorance then your issue is with the ones who were actually there telling the truth.

Here is the documentary right here. I time stamped it for you. Notice how they speak highly of him. Tell the people who were actually there that it's stupidity and ignorance.

Explain that to @Plankton comes into every thread like this and post nothing but falsehoods about how Jamaicans created hip-hop. He’s clearly a Jamaican descent, considering he’s so upset how black Americans have even influenced and helped create his own countries dominant genre on Reggae. For some reason, it makes him sick to his stomach that black Americans created the genre of music that he’s such a fan of.

But then again he might be white @CHICAGO several posters that called that out, but I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he’s Jamaican. A white boy wouldn’t ride so hard for Jamaicans like this unless he just really hated black Americans. Two things can be true at the same time black Americans created hip-hop and also Herc was a pioneer and one of the early DJs, who helped kick it off in the Bronx. But for some reason, this guy just can’t understand this. He’s one of those either or type of guys.

For almost my whole life I was told DJ Kool Herc was credited with being one of the pioneers and creators of Hip Hop.
If he isn't, I wish the discussion was more on the individuals who did. The focus should've been on giving those individuals credit rather than taking credit from other groups of people.

KOOL HERC IS ONE OF
THE PIONEERS OF HIP HOP.
THE DOCUMENTARY NEVER DISPUTED THAT....

CLAIMING HERC CREATED HIP HOP
AND GOT IT FROM JAMAICAN CULTURE
IS WHERE shyt GOES OFF THE RAILS

This was in Harlem and he played Reggae. Hip Hop is not based on Reggae.

They speak highly of him in Harlem, not the Bronx.

At the core of Hip Hop music is heavy drum beats, jazz intermezzos and funky base lines. These combined are also known as disco. So disco was instrumental as the groundwork for rap. That’s what the early rap records were on “pure” disco.

The Black Spades and Hip Hop culture are inseparable. You simply can’t separate these.

That's how much of a failed rapper you are. Your music is distributed by CDBaby. The music will automatically be uploaded to Youtube by default. The fact that you are unfamiliar means that you aren't getting any royalties from your trash music because that should be basic info. :mjlol:

On the flip side I did a search of ya boy Smokeurobinson and ol boy got close to 10K subs and a video with over 2 million views. :ohhh:

Outside of The Coli, Smokes Youtube page is way more lit then yours and he doesn't even rap. And all you need is 1k to monetize so unlike you, ya boy Smoke is more then likely seeing a check every 21st of the month. :ehh:

DJ King Charles was from Queens not Harlem. Your credibility is now in the dumps. You don't know anything about King Charles and got caught making up a lie.

This is a playlist of what it looked like at the time (it’s not made by me, so some songs aren’t from that era), for the first generation B-boys. I’m doing other things, but later I will pass on the name of the person who collected the music for Herc. Herc had a sideman.

These are not reggae songs.

Compare the playlist above to that of The 45 King. Be brought the most breaks, late 80s.

And that's the thing. Math already pointed out a while back what I been saying for years. 1) You have too many people from that era who say different contradicting things. So finding the actual truth is reduced to finding common denominators between the stories, 2) A good portion of Black people didn't even fukk with Hip Hop in it's origin. Cholly Rock pointed this out in his 2015 rant when elaborating on the Founding Fathers documentary. Cholly Rock pointed out that Hip Hop was shunned and looked down on by many during the disco era but once it became more popular, a lot of the ones who didn't like it at first jumped on the wagon and would later claim to be a part of it's origin when they weren't. I timestamped it.

This might be the most understated fact about Hip Hop nobody wants to talk about. DJs…black DJs did not want to play Hip Hop. Don Cornelius did not want it on Soul Train. A lot of us did not see any significance in Hip Hop and didn’t respect it. Those that did maybe had a Kurtis Blow record in their collection somewhere. There a lot of grandstanding about this being our music when a lot of us didn’t want it in the first place. Let’s just keep it real.

:dahell:

I never said one word about reggae songs in a playlist. My dude, in post #48 I literally posted Cholly Rock name dropping the popular breakbeats in the early 70's. I seriously don't understand why you would bring up reggae after I posted that video. Makes no sense.
