Vlad is one my top 3 favorite players ever. The way he could take a pitch that was 3-4 inches off the ground and put it in play and make it look so easy was amazing His swing, arm, swag was all on point man. I thought he retired a couple years ago though, didn't even know he was in the league last year

On a side note, I was unstoppable with that Angels team on either 2K6 or 2K7. Vlad, Napoli, Chone Figgins, Garret Anderson, Ervin Santana, K-Rod I was giving nikkas that work with that squad

Being a Braves fan, I loved watching games when they went to Olympic Stadium and played the Expos. Something about that cavernous, empty ass stadium intrigued me lol. Hell Vlad was one of their only guys worth a damn for a while. I remember the year he was thisclose to 40-40. Once in a generation player
