He should've learned some English.. nicca needed a translator his entire career. He should've been a way bigger star than what he was. I liked watchin' him play in his prime though
Still cuts like a knife after all these years that he rejected the O's (and more money, to boot) to go to ANA. We finally got him, but it was 7 years too late and he was...nah, can't even bring myself to post the Holmes smiley.
One of my all-time faves. I remember when there was talk of the Expos moving to DC like in the late 90's-early '00's, I was pumped 'cause he'd basically be playing in my backyard. Too bad he'd already left by the time they did arrive.

was one homer run of 40/40, never struck out 100 times in a season, barely walked as well yet his obp was always over 380 for the most part, a beast

Fan experience with vlad, this dude had a fukkin arm. Expos were playing the marlins at pro player stadium. I forgot who was batting but someone hit a foul ball, which bounced off the foul wall/bullpen wall. I was sitting behind the bullpen. The ball bounced all the way to right center, vlad picks it up and Bruh, this man literally flicked his wrist and that ball traveled from right center to where I was at behind the bullpen. One of the coolest experiences at the ballpark I had as a kid.
vlad was so clutch for us in 2010. love that dude.
