Depending on the day of the week AG can be a top 3 Jay album. Lyrically it could be his 2nd best depending on how you feeling with the black album.

And lets not front like diddy and trackmasters didnt lace jay with the production. Its waaay better than vol 1. Even the lows are better

Blue magic and hello brooklyn >>> sunshine, i know what girls like (arguably the woret beat in jays catalogue and hip hop)

Yall are gonna stop sleeping on American Gangster :pacspit:

Damn u @stomachlines how dare u do this. Both albums are 4 mic smokers. I feel Vol.1 along with Vol. 3 are Jay's most underrated work. I cant decide both are personal top 5 Jay albums but I cant choose. I kno with both albums lyrically he kinda had something to prove (vol 1 he wasnt no flash in the pan and true heir to BIGs throne and AG that lyrically he can capture that hustlers essence kinda like a grown man version of Jigga plus coming off Kingdom Come they was saying he fell way off)
