most of juelz' work is underground. he put out more music than eminem.

as for our disagreement, like i said, theyre neck-n-neck in my book. my gripe is with people trying to laugh it off like theyre not. thats corny. and my main gripe is people saying that eminem had more impact & influence than arguably the 2nd most vital guy out of the entire diplomat movement. its a crazy notion, and i already know that its just a knee-jerk reaction by yall, but you fellas just dont want to admit it.

For better or worse Em is an icon and a mogul. Dude has his own radio station, label, movie, and it doesn't hurt that he's white lol. Juelz is nice but he's not in the same league. You were better off having him against Lloyd Banks and I think Banks is better. And we may never have heard Lloyd on the level we did if not for Em. Nobody in NY wanted to touch 50 at the time.

Look at what you just said man. Juelz was the 2nd most vital guy in Dipset. You cant compare the Dipset movement to that whole Shady/Aftermath thing. When Em signed 50 and had 8 Mile he was on top of the game

lol @ shady/aftermath. niccas didnt give a dam about that label until 50 came thru.

eminem was on top of what? TRL?

so basically, youre basing your entire argument off of white privelegde.

somebody just put a fork in hip-hop already. the white man done did a number on you niccas man. you the homie but they got you ock. follow me tho. i'll show you the way.

and there was a bidding war for 50 breh. stop swallowing the propaganda.

Im not gonna deny Em has benefited from being white but the fact that he's white mad it harder for him to get on in the first place. It becuz of him you got all these white rappers popping up these days but back then it was much harder. Dude had to pay a ton of dues

he had way more privelegde than dues paid.

bottom line, the movies, radio station, sales, fame, etc are a product of white priveledge. if he was black, he would have less notoriety than cannibus.

what real impact did he have within the culture aside from being a novelty act that can really spit? thats all im saying man. this whole thing was in response to you trying to brush juelz off like hes not on his level, when really that is indeed the level that eminem should be playing on. and he def didnt have the influence/impact of juelz and i can see that you know im right.

Once he got on he definitely benefited from being white but that shyt held him back for years. He had all kinds of underground shyt before Dre signed him. That's another thing: being down with Dre helped too. If he had signed to Duck Down like he was going too we wouldn't even be having this convo

yep. proves my point.

and theres alot more juelz music floating around than that, when you factor in all the tracks featured on unofficial juelz mixtapes.
Are you actually saying juelz has more unreleased/underground music than Eminem? You can't believe that.

Yeah - but ultimately, they've both released a lot of music in essentially the same time frame. Mixtapes don't really count to me...but I can't deny they happened :yeshrug:
Ultimately a lot of talk about two rappers who aren't going far in this tournament and never released a classic album. Plus you'll never convince me Juelz wasn't laughably bad (although very entertaining...)
