I'm a N.O.R.E. fan and that's more because of his unorthodox delivery and production, lets not act like the man was actually a great lyricist, he has dope verses but also verses that are laughably bad.

That was a really tough matchup for me. Even considering Liquid Swords, I went with Common. He doesn't have an album as good as Liquid Swords, but he has so many classic songs. I liked the two records GZA had after Liquid Swords a lot too. I could still change my vote
Everything else was pretty straight forward. Except for Max B and Gucci. One I actively dislike, but at least he has a couple decent songs. The other I only know for singing the hook on a Pete rock produced Jim Jones song
I went with Gucci.

I voted for Common too, he's in my personal top 10.

I think Max B makes dope music, I don't know if you'd be into him though.

Yeah he's in that sing/rap lane, he's not a great lyricist very blunt and straightforward with his bars, production usually on point though IMO.

Nas over Special Ed is easy even tho Special Ed was nice. Common over GZA was tough but Common been consistent for over 20 years. GZA was wack before the Wu. D.O.C. over Chubb Rock was another tough one becuz Chubb Rock was so nice on the mic but D.O.C. was nice too plus he wrote for so many others. Beans over Trick Daddy was easy plus Beans is my mans. Took Max B over Gucci off gp. DMX easy over Nore. Nore says stupid shyt like Neptunes gotta cocker spaniel lol. E-40 over Heavy D but that's a tough one. Went with E-40 tho cuz he's a icon in the Bay. Never been a Juvie fan so went with Freeway. Lowkey Free always been consistent
