west coast was already on the map.

inventing "beeyotch" isnt really something to hang your hat on.

meanwhile, brat made history being the 1st female rapper to go platinum. she also outshined supposed goats. she outshined biggie on a track, spit over the south bronx instrumental better than KRS could, and outshined krayzie bone in actual double-time form(what some people like to pretend that biggie did) and she did it on numerous records. timbaland did beats for all those east coast dudes and none of em killed a timbo beat like da brat.

i could go on.

and i like too short, but if this board wasnt so sexist, da brat would win. no contest.

Lmao.

Too Short been around damn near 30 years and had one of his biggest hits just a few years ago. Don't get me wrong I like Da Brat but longevity plays a huge part

MAC is another one catching the shaft.

one of the goat southern lyricists by far.

only one i'd put over him lyrically is k-rhino, and i prolly wouldnt even be saying that if it wasnt for the pigs.:pacspit:

Whens the last time LL had a hit tho? Too Short had Blow the Whistle not too long ago. And LL definitely had his wack moments. Too Short just wasn't as marketable

now?

i havnt heard that word used since the '90s.

:heh:

TBH I haven't used it since the 90s either but either way Short has left a bigger imprint on the game than Da Brat

You guys are lucky you're two of my favorite posters...otherwise I'd have to hit you with the
First @Wacky D can't find a place for Prodigy in his list of 140 solo emcees :to:
Then he tells me Prodigy's not even getting in as a wild card :sadbron:
What happened to keeping the fam fed in this tournament breh? Did you not see me :feedme:I just need my struggle placement is all :mjcry:
Then @The Ruler 09 jumps in and kicks me when I'm down by bringing up relevant sales information that I was trying to ignore :scust:
Although in fairness, Bizzy Bone going platinum is basically the same as Prodigy going Gold...given that Bone was far more commercially successful at their peak. And wasn't Krayzie's album a double? Did he go real platinum? Or gold/double album platinum? The point is...if we're gonna say no one cared about Prodigy's solo career...did anyone really care about Bone's? :usure:
As if this midwest bias was not :scust:enough - now @Wacky D gonna double down by picking Da Brat over Too $hort :dwillhuh:
Is it make @mobbinfms :mjcry:day?
Too $hort is a god amongst men brehs :blessed:

krayzie's promotion got halted TWICE. otherwise, it wouldve sold twice as much as it did.

and im sure even you know about how ruthless did bizzy.

prodigy's main market had already moved on for the most part when he started doing solos. and he became a shell of himself shortly afterwards.

LL has better things to do than make stick around making struggle raps breh. and i know the title but i cant remember anything from a "blow the whistle" song, so it couldnt have been that big.

and i bet you LL's next album will make a bigger splash than too short's last 10 albums put together.

dog, da brat made HISTORY. you have mc lyte in the regional finals but da brat came out and did what lyte couldnt do on the 1st try.
