I liked his music actually.

youre just stanning & playing dumb.

not stanning
not playing dumb
i'm just trying for you to answer what exactly is someone music being forced down the public throat mean

just keep it real - in reality, that doesn't exist - that’s why your not answering the question

youre doing a lot of juelzing.

once you do that same juelzing for other artists, that 7 mil that you struggled to come up with, wont seem quite as grand.

no juelzing at all
  • his album
  • his singles
  • his group album
  • his group singles
is damn near 7 million records sold, while alive & well
i don't understand your term “struggle”

God Bless you for speaking the truth. And being a damn grown up. Best synopsis I've seen on the matter.

Some of these cats commenting here and on IG only know how to react with emotions

Real talk. I'm speaking from experience, because foundationally I'm wired same way, but I'm aware of it.

Now I make to take a step back and make sure to assess every situation carefully and not through the lens of complete emotion

if youre not playing dumb, then you don't need to be posting here.

as for the other stuff, junior mafia only went gold.
so youre saying he sold 5 million worth of singles? if true, that's cool, but keep that same energy with all the other artists out there.

I kinda see what he was saying about biggie tho.

Wack is prolly in his 50s. they don't look at pac & big the same way as someone who was growing when they died.
But wack said in that Nick Cannon interview pac could be considered a legend based off his huge body ov work , as far as nip wack was right Nipsey Hussle wasn’t a mainstream legend he was nowhere near pac or bigs level when he died n they were younger then him wen they died ....

pac aint in his top 5.

ice cube is in it tho.

that's what I was getting at. I wasn't really commenting on the legend thing like that.

they all became legends in death due to media coverage of their murders. Biggie and 2Pac were indeed mainstream stars but they were not the best sellers. Most people were not hailing either as the GOATS. All this happened in death. It's no different than Nipsey really. If recordss sales determined legends. You have some really wack legends such as Coolio, Vanila Ice, Tag Team.

And also alot of people didn't like Biggie or 2Pac while they were living. These same suckas saying they goats

yea, I know a lot of people who didn't have any 2pac or biggie albums before they died.

then all of a sudden, theyre touting them as the two greatest.

...he ain't lying. Even on this very board, YG got talked about more for his music than Nipsey prior to his murder

Sure, YG catered to the mainstream audience ie Radio. White kids..

JuiceWrld had 26 songs on billboard. He died, everyone moved on in 48 hours.

Neither had an album as dope as Victory Lap

whatever album you think is better, is subjective.

are we gonna act as if nipsey didn't attempt to have hit records?? he came out sampling kriss kross for pete's sake.

if a powerful group of people behind the scenes decided to push the button, they could hype up juicewrld's death as well.
multiple people who are pushing 60, have already come up to me, asking about dude, and it looks like the younger audience is more into him than nipsey.

ok.... i get it - like i said before your not gonna answer the question, because your statement about music being forced; doesn’t exist in reality

and YES.... that’s the difference between biggie & other rappers
biggie was able to sell his singles, other rappers couldn’t or at least couldn’t on his level, so i don’t even understand you saying
keep that same energy...

:what:

when did selling the most album determine GOAT status ?
hammer & vanilla ice wasn’t even hip hop artists they were pop artists

:snoop:

you really gonna compare one of them.... having 4 solo albums before dying to the other having 1

:mindblown:

Younger generation aka young emo Cac’s

The face that juice wrld died and nobody cares proves Wack’s argument wrong..
