This is EXACTLY what I'm saying. No way SFMN'z isn't classic. Cats just wasn't ready for the sound yet. He was TOO militant at this point and cats were smoking weed listening to g-funk. Other than the singles it went over a LOT of people heads :manny: Pac was smart enough to realize this so he switched up on MATW and got at the females, who he knew he had a base with, and made the production a lot more accessible. But LYRICALLY both his first 2 albums were classics.

I don't think he really switched cause other than Temptations and Can U Get Away the rest of MATW was Pac searchin his soul...Gotdammit man Pac still fukkin with us from the great beyond just like he intended lol :wow:

you must have one of those 24 hour desk jobs then.

I never denied bringing pac into the conversation.

you think those kids would be sitting around listening to 2pac records without the super-push that he gets?
the only way they would do that on their own is if theyre legitimately into rap history like that. BUT if they were, you wouldn't be bringing it up like its a big deal, so

lol @ you having kids. I didn't know I was a granddaddy already.
I'm an IT professional whom happens to have a lot of equipment. I'm always around the computer :manny: but even then look at my post count and look at yours :comeon:
And what's this SUPER PUSH does he get :what:
He doesn't get radio play like that. PLEASE explain this push and not just push shyt from your ass to your mouth. You are straight going full retard up in here.

I agree. But the problem is that the same nikkas whom downplay his first two projects will give inflated props to album that are no better ,like BOREmatic and Only Built 4 finna sleep

Stop the madness bro.. Even if u don't get into 'em respect is due. Rae & Nas have done entire shows/tours dedicated to those albums 'cause people still ask for 'em 20 years and runnin

why are you still trying to explain yourself?:mjlol:and just about EVERYBODY is around a computer all day, in the sense that you can post thru your phone.

my post count could easily be higher. it doesn't take but a few seconds to post something.

theres people on here way more than me, with just a thousand posts. BE SMART SON.

Thug Life vol 1 is when Pac hit his stride

I want to say that but I cant say it officially, seeing how it was a group project and he didn't have to hold down the album on his own.

youre smarter than this man.

:comeon:

I dont think he's perfect either but i think nikkas (even you) take exception to the godlike props that the people organically gave to him and turn around and judge him harsher than others

it stopped being organic like that a LONG time ago.

I have pac as a goat contender based on what he did in life. all the pile-on bandwagon fans/props/sales after his death, don't help him much in my standings.

Not album wise. I was speaking on that's when he found his stride as an artist. Me Against the World is when he put it all together

Come on dog...:comeon:you were having a good debate then you have to come with this nonsense. You know EXACTLY what I'm saying. Don't go full retard on me homie. You better than that :mjcry:
Let me help you out a bit...look at the timeframe when that album dropped and you might understand if not :pacspit:

Breh, you act like Pac was the only one making conscious/rebel hip hop during that time. I came up on XClan, BDP/KRS, King Sun, The Coup, Poor Righteous Teachers, Paris, Cube, they made the same type of music that Pac was going for, they just happened to do it better. The passion was there, but the music just didn't hit, g. Get over it.

I never saw the media push pac as the greatest rapper nor did they push his albums that way.
I'm wrong?
Ok who was saying this about pac?

Because of east coast bias props.
OB4CL is an album with avg beats and avg rapping.
Raekwon is a foirgettable mc with mainly lackluster verses

Nas is a legend and most likely a top 15 mc probably higher than that but illmatic is nothing special,
I thought he caught his stride on IWW.
Rae never caught a stride

Come on Dog...you already see that I'm from the SAME era...out of ANY of those cats you just ran off name ONE besides Cube, who was on the downslide, who were making any noise NATIONALLY in 1993. Not a single damn one :beli: that sound was TOTALLY overlooked for G-Funk or East Coast grime and YOU KNOW IT. Pac was militant to a fault and the fans weren't checking for it until he mixed it up with some tracks for the ladies and he got a more polished production sound. How the fukk are you even going to debate that. I'm starting to think you might be Wacky D or F or some shyt :martin:

yea they do. not as blatantly as they try to force biggie as the #1, but they do.

if you cant see that pac's legacy has been shoved down our throats, then theres nothing left for me to say.

deceased artists like 2pac with powerful people & big money behind their legacies, are worth more dead than alive. that's all I'm gonna say.

I get around is a PLAYA, Bay influenced track. Keep your head up is an inspirational track that can be looked at as a track for the ladies. And once he saw how the ladies were reacting to those type of tracks he aimed DIRECTLY at them.
