...Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated is reporting that Wade and the Los Angeles Lakers may have mutual interest. Although, at this point, it’s tough to separate fact from standard contract negotiations between Wade and the Heat.
The Lakers obviously have one aging superstar in Kobe Bryant, and they are paying him top dollar. Do they really want to take on another guard who is nearing the end of his career after a 21-win season, or would they rather spend money on younger players and start looking toward the future? The latter seems more likely, even if Kobe might only have a season left in him.
One report claims the Heat are only offering Wade $36 million over three seasons, which may not be enough to convince him to stay. And then there was that hint Wade seemed to drop during the NBA Finals about potentially leaving Miami.
Still, Los Angeles seems like an unlikely destination.

It's all rumors right now. But, let me call up Wade's agent to get the 411.

Okay, that was a joke. I don't have Wade's agent's phone number.

He was a beta post 2013 under LeBron. It's a damn shame what happnened to that boy, had all the tools to be the best player of his generation (vividly recall myself and other championing him as best in the league 09-10) but he didn't want that for himself.
He was drafted the same year as LeBron. He never had a shot at being the best player of his generation. Only idiot Heat fans were calling him the best in 2010.

That's actually a pretty decent line up.. lowest scoring team in the league tho

:mjlol: people really think all of them are gonna work together :russ:

we all seen how rondo acted when he's told what to do, he should just go back to the Celtics or the knicks

Yet he was the only one in his draft class to lead his team to a playoff series victory in year 1, first in his draft class to to lead his team to a championship, had the best individual season 08-09. Wilbon, who isnt an "idiot Heat fan" was leading the national wave calling Wade the best player in the league. You consistently dont know what the hell you are talking about.

So Kobe plays half the season, Wade the other half

:mjcry:

if i'm the lakers, I sell him on the idea that kobe plays one night of a back to back and wade plays the other. we keep em both at 30 minutes per game. they each only gotta play 60-65 games a season. that would keep em fresh and they woulnd't have the pressure of carrying a team on their own.

i think it could work.
