Ehhhh.. I disagree kobe def crippled the Lakers for the next half a decade possibly. It's going to be hard convincing anyone to go there who doesn't get overpaid. Going to be interesting to watch to say the least. I'm all for nikkas getting money but when it comes to wanting to compete for a title kobe should have taken a cut at this stage of he wants a ring

maybe it will or maybe it wont hurt the lakers. no guarantee if kobe takes say 10-15 million instead that that cap space will be put to good use. management hasnt exactly made good decisions in regards to personnel or coaching the past 3 years or so. if they have the cap space to offer two max players who's to say two players worthy of the max would come anyway.
