Jordan had the whole marketing machine behind his back, once lakers, celtics and kinda pistons stopped being a threat this guy completely took over the league to the point where shytting on jordan was actually bad for your wallet. This nikka was a saint in the 90s. Bron aint better than MJ but if he actually was the media would still be lickin MJ's ass the very same second once the dicussions start kickin in...

I don't know why people act like Gatorade was making those last second shots, or that Hanes averaged over 40 ppg for a Finals, or that Nike left the game with essentially a career 30ppg avg with 6 rings. What the hell does marketing have to do with people actually watching the man perform? Y'all act like Mike was manufactured like Brittany Spears or something. POY in college, ROY in the league, etc. He was on the trajectory before even wearing Nike's.

Tim tony and manu were not in their primes in 2013. When they were in their primes they swept lebron and the Cavs in 2007

Yeah but LeBron wasn't in his prime, even though he seems to be punished for taking that team to the playoffs when it had no business being there, going through the last of the championship era Pistons

He was like 5 years out of his prime at that point. :dahell:

And Ray Allen saved them more than anybody. You think prime Tim Duncan wouldn't have dunked that game tying layup that he missed?

Steve Kerr and Paxton saved Jordan right.
Tim duncan could have dunked then, he didn't want to, but I can easily take that and say if Worthy hadn't of gotten hurt and Magic was 3 years younger the Bulls wouldn't have touched the Lakers in that first title.

It not a thought process that fails to surpass Jordan. When you get in the game and it is your turn to dominate, then you don't look back. That is what Jordan did when it came to winning. Wade sees it for what it is, so he is not going to discount greatness even if his boy is Lebron.
Jordan was Wade's idol, LeBron is Wade's friend/peer. There's nothing LeBron can do to run ahead of Jordan.

They beat Phoenix in 6 and LA in 5. :stopitslime:

Heat needed 2 miracles to win in 7.

Here's the problem with this argument. Why do we give MJ credit for going to Finals and never losing but getting knocked out early in his career while bringing up Lebron's 3-3 Finals Record as if he didn't bring teams that wouldn't have been playoff teams without him there? What MJ did in the Finals was unbelievable but we're basically taking credit away from Bron for taking teams that didn't deserve to be there while not taking any credit away from MJ for getting eliminated early

The 07 Cavs had no business being in the NBA finals and the 2014-15 Cavs were bombed out and depleted.

We saw Jordan retire and his team went 55-27 without him.

You want extra credit for Bron navigating this weak East the last half decade of his career?

Bron's shown a few flashes of bytchass'ness throughout his career.

You're comparing him to a man who was basically the embodiment of this

on a basketball court.

The game nowadays, while more athletic, is brittle, and "boyish" between the ears.

Bron's just gonna have to settle for top 5...No way he's getting that #1 spot.

Take it like a man, boys
