Wait, hold up. Why isn't Jason Campbell a starter in the league this year?

what does a team stand to gain by investing in a 31 year old Jason Campbell?

Teams would rather invest in long term solutions (and if you're not a long term solution you better give me a chance to win a Superbowl. Campbell doesn't offer that kind of hope).

What does a team stand to gain in investing in Carson Palmer or Matt Cassel? I guess it's the norm for fans to say fukk this season and worry about what could happen in 5 years. I wish I could go to my job and tell them I will suck for the next 3 years but in year 4 or 5 years they may see some production.

Breh, who's the last qb to succeed in DC since Mark Rypien? Minus the bum ass rookie and 2nd year qb's, he has a better or nearly the same career QB rating of Ryan Fitzpatrick, Joe Flacco, Mark Sanchez, Matt Cassel, Eli Manning, and Jay Cutler. Not to mention he has played for the Raiders and Redskins, two of the most dysfunctional franchises in the league in the last decade. No telling what dude could do if he actually got with a solid organization.

baha at this dude is 31 not 23, dude has had years of starting different offensive coordinators, hes average he's not suddenly going to throw for 300 yards a game 30 tds and 10 interceptions.

campbell is not better than fitzpatrick, flacco, sanchez, cassel, eli manning or cutler.

jason campbell if given 16 games to start would throw for like 2,800 yards, with 18 tds and 15 ints, pedestrian numbers

carson palmer is garbage, but he's had some upper echelon qb seasons in his past, and he will at least give you 4,000 passing yards a year with like 25 passing tds

same for cassel both haqve big contracts as well, campbell doesn't.

please name 5 ciites where campbell could start right now?

campbell is not even as good as teh bills qb tyler thigpen and vince young, is he even better than leinart?

lol this guy's threads are always horrible. We see your agenda but it's not gonna fly nikka. Jason is average in fact some could say he's below average and I wouldn't argue.

Cardinals, Vikings, jags, SF, SEAHAWKS are not in the nfl anymore? Link?

Kolb is at least EQUAL and younger than Campbell

Seahawks just made the deal for Flynn this year plus drafted a QB
Jags are gonna ride with Gabbert and see what they got
and Alex Smith IMO is better than Campbell right now
