Always follow the money trail.I'm pretty neutral on brother Umar. I want him to succeed and I even donated some money to his school but I don't like how childish he gets when someone ask a question. There are a lot of black charter schools that still must meet state requirements. They may have black teachers and run by black people but they are still teaching a European centric curriculum. Kind of like how a lot of HBCU's have a majority black faculty and black president but a lot of their financial backing comes from white people and in some cases they are part of the state's college system.
Ron Clark Academy aint teaching black kids any better if they went to a white Catholic school. He most likely a undercover white supramacist who is using this hustle to milk black middle class families out of money while not teaching them ANYTHING Afrocentric. I would rather want my kids to learn black history like Queen Nzinga or Nat Turner taught by a white professor then white history like Joan of Arc taught by a black professor. fukk that school. Im rooting for Umar as well.
With private funding, Umar can teach blsck kids about white supramacy and who they're enemies are, something that Ron Clark would never teach in his schools.
