I think a better question to ask is, what class it is that he's teaching. If he's a Chemistry teacher, well then who cares. He might be a top notch Chemistry teacher.

A teacher isn't a parent. Teachers just teach school shyt. All the shyt you are talking about... building character and teaching a kid how to navigate in the world.... is a parent's job.
