The Chi (South Side)
killa season was his last good album. then he takes like 4 years off and comes back with a :trash: album with no-name producers, no dip-set guest appearances and it was just overall terrible.

Dame going broke!

You can blame the beats, Tru Life or anything else. But Cam and the Dipset movement was made possible by Dame & the Roc-a-fella brand.

Jay didn't need the Roc anymore, they all pretty much needed him. After he deaded the Roc every last one of them who didn't have a leg to stand on is a distant memory.
Dame - constant financial problems
Biggs - doing time for packs (one of the biggest what the fukk moments in rap in the last decade)
Siegel - in and out of jail
State Prop - nowhere to be found outside of Freeway who even though has released some solid music, is going nowhere fast
Dipset movement - a thing of the past.

Nothing really, time just changed. His time just ran out, that's it that's all.
