I'm not downing black people over this dish but I could never stomach the smell when my mom and dad would cook this once a year to eat it.

Pretty sure the word comes from Shyt Linings.Lol I call these shyterlings and shytlngs.
Reminds me of my grandma.

My grandma loves chitterlings
absolutely has nothing to do with cacs, but everything to do with the fact that it smells like boiled shyt lol. and I'm as southern as they come, Texas by way of LouisianaI live in Cali bruh. Momma make chitlins (sometimes) for thanksgiving/christmas. Wouldn't say I love em but I still eat em. Brings me back to my Southern roots, and it helps to keep the c00n out.
Yall wanna eat kale chips and oatmeal smoothies cuz these cacs got yall ashamed to eat some intestines. Nobody said you gotta eat a chitlin sandwich for lunch everyday
