This is his worse album but its not a bad album.

Its also the 1st Wale album that doesnt sound like a cohesive body of work. Its just a lot of reaching for hits on here.

Probably won't listen to this after the new Shine (pun intended) wears off

Atlantic probably anticipated low first week sales/streams......

I don't want to keep bringing up Logic but for some perspective his new suicide hotline single released the same time as SHINE has 93,000 streams off spotify. The highest non-single song off SHINE has is My Love at 24,000 streams, then Heaven on Earth at 11,000 streams.

Are you not understanding what I'm getting at? Do you think Wale's Shine is going to sell better than Logic's album? They were scheduled to drop on the same day, but Wale pushed his shyt up to today, and my guess would be he did that so he could secure the number 1 spot with this release because nobody else is dropping today.

Had he kept to the 5th release date, he surely would have lost out to Logic.

And don't get it twisted, I do not fukk with Logic. I'm just saying it's sad that Logic's music is translating further in hiphop. What Wale songs are being pumped on the radio? I don't hear them anyway, who listening to the radio like that in 2017?

I ain't gonna say it's trash, I'll just say it's probably his weakest effort.

He was on to something with The Gifted. I feel like that had a good balance of the Wale that his fans and outsiders could rock to on that album.

It ain't for me I'ma just say that.
