“Wale’s music career would’ve been better had he not signed to MMG” who agrees with this situation? 🧐

Wale Career slowed because

1 he became to formulantic
2 too much became about his personality rather than the music. Ie The Game

Perfect producer for wale is

Both are super nerds they can make it work

His career was DOA on interscope. MMG gave him a second life

I loved Attention Defecit but it was not reviewed well and it sold almost nothing

I think its not a hard to believe conspiracy to say that RocNation fukked him over to promote Cole, and interscope fukked him over to promote Kendrick

Meh.

Bro was signed to Mark Ronson years before signing with MMG. He had a bidding war going on and ran with Interscope. Came in on some crossover sh*t right out the gate with his first joint featuring Gaga. It was clear what kinda direction he was trying to go in.

The MMG move was a weird one, but I always thought it kept him alive. It was a poor fit, but he seemed like he was about to fade into blog-era oblivion before he inked with Ross. Thing is, he signed there and Meek was the one that the people actually cared about. So he got all the focus.
