The problem is recording it for Clout. You think another company is going to take a chance on this employee knowing how they get down? If you want to leave, leave. Send a note to corporate and your manager. Everything else is theatrics.
Nah, it ain’t that serious. Its Walmart. These are jobs you get during or straight of high school which don’t even get on your real resume. In a professional setting everyone’s “first job” is an internship or volunteer time. So she’ll be fine.

I commend her for at least having some fun with it, cause there really were no stakes in this whatsoever. As far as new employment goes, she could literally make up anything as a reference and have a job at Oreily’s auto parts or Target by next week. :yeshrug:

O Reilly’s auto parts and target :dead:how do you say these are jobs you get during high school then act like that should be her goal. What exactly is different about target than Walmart? She’s clearly grown and didn’t advance in 5 years at a fukking Walmart then acts like other people are the issue.

Plenty of people cared, or it wouldn’t be going viral. You capitalist bootlickers sicken me. The system whose prosperity is rooted in the enslavement of black bodies enjoys a slavish defense from the very people it is exploiting.

:scust:

I think you're missing my point.

Whats going to happen as a result of this video?

Yeah ppl are sharing the video like "you go girl" but that's it and then they're going back to their jobs or they're going into Walmart to shop as soon as they get done watching.

No one cares about this video

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
My first job was a grocery store job and apparently right before I started, a guy did this over the store intercom. I wish I had been there for it. Also: This isn't the first time a Walmart employee has done this to quit.

Send a note to corporate and your manager? :dafukk:

That’s the equivalent of writing a note to the bully asking him to stop beating you up.

If you want any kind of a shot at a career in the near future you don’t want to have a 5 year gap with no job references since you motherfukked the company over the intercom. But people do things for the gram in 2021, they don’t think about the repercussions

What are you talking about?? She can get this same level job at another company very quickly and very easily; particularly now. Most grocery stores or retail shops aren’t even gonna check your references.

I salute this woman. I used to work at Walmart and what she's saying isn't too far off from how they do shyt at the Walmart out here in Texas. The management is horrible, they want people to work and work and work without paying them, etc.

I would never work for Walmart or Sam's Club ever again. I barely even like shopping there.

I agree. That is not the goal, and i never implied it was. its a transitional state. The assumption is that she is doing something in college or training elsewhere. Perhaps she is even in that "finding one's self" stage that twenty year olds go through. My point is that she had nothing to lose by doing this and she will be able to make a lateral move in a week to another gig at the same lvl.

Let me also reiterate, that if/when she gets her Big Girl job in 2023 at XYZ corporation, walmart will be nowhere on her resume. It will most likely be an internship or volunteer experience. No late stage employer gives a damn about your leadership experience at Shake Shack or Target. She's going to be fine.:yeshrug:

Idk what that’s gonna do but working at Walmart is the type of job that’s just a means to an end

you need to be in school or some type of program while there or it’s all for nothing
