Walmart actually is one of the few businesses that makes it a point to hire the developmentally disabled and elderly. Just sit at the door greeting people. Literally doing the same thing they are already doing with their homeless signs.

There was some wild story that Walmart (or McDonalds) employees are the biggest beneficiaries of Medicaid or Welfare benefits.

Basically the story said that because Walmart pays so poorly, their employees are more dependent on government assistance just to survive. So those savings you think you're getting at the store...you're paying that shyt when your taxes go to support those employees' livelihoods.
But people don't make the connection in their minds.
