it's useful to understand that space and nothing else stands between us and other celestial bodies
we spend our entire lives drowned, wrapped in amniotic matter of various states and limited temperatures
but dear space...dear space...no matter, none of that warm condensed energy blanket we are so familiar with
and in that character it becomes a wall, but kind enough to be glass

to understand this is to know that the universe is ours

till you pointed that out I thought it was dust. That's fukin nuts. No way we're alone in the universe.
let me ask yall a question. why is it when you realize how vast the universe could be. you automatically think about "there must be others out there. we cant be alone?"

I have NEVER ONCE in my life thought "because this thing is so darn big No way we could be alone." that has never crossed my mind. i do find it darn near no words to use to describe what i'm looking at. in utter awe of it. amazed by it. but never do i assume due to its size and density there must be others. why do you guys believe this? alien movies/books? now i'm not saying i have never wondered about life on other planets. i have. but never when i see a crazy pic of space.
