Of course Johnson isn't expected to lead the Heat, which is stupid to even mention because Johnson could never lead the previous teams when he was considered to be the main guy. However Dragic isn't a superstar cailber PG & is infective in some lineups against other teams & D Wade while still a very good player, isn't the Wade of old due to injuries. Joe Johnson was brought in by the Heat to be a main cog within the unit & not as a minor role player based primarily for his shooting & 3 point ability, to play long minutes while giving D Wade rest & as some additional insurance to be the main SG if D Wade was injured & couldn't play games during the playoffs & also to play minutes as a well versed. more steady backup SF for Deng & no Chris Bosh or if Deng was injured as well.
Stop it.

Is Joe Johnson a role player on your team, despite starting and averaging over 30 minutes a game? :mjpls:
The way the team is constructed we really don't have role players. Any player on any given night can be the main guy. Joe has already filled that role for us a couple times. When Wade was out he stepped up and took over the scoring duties. We needed a knockdown down 3 pt shooter and somebody who could create and Joe has given us exactly that.

Just how in the fukk do you have a Kevin Martin vs Joe Johnson debate in their PRIMES...let alone now :dahellwhat:
If Danny Green could make a shot Martin wouldn't even be on this team...:dahellwhat:

If Danny go back to being the old Danny Martin won't play 10 minutes a game :dahellwhat:
