A lot of confidence from a team that lost in the first round last year

When was the last time the spurs lost in the first round 2 yrs in a row? Plus the spurs have improved their team since last year and the only other team in the West that can say that is the warriors

Honestly, y'all love this shyt for whatever reason and he's won championships so he'll always get the pass for it, but Pop is a bytch for shyt like this. I'm talking just from the perspective of the fan with the entertainment aspect, especially considering what the NBA charges for their games. Y'all might clown me for saying this, but imagine you saved up to pay to see a basketball game, get the ticket, and then this shyt gets pulled - a coach sitting all of his players with not an injury on the list. SMH.

All I hear is a baby crying if fans want to be confident both teams will be at full strength then go to a game early in the season....NBA seasons are 82 games long the spurs have a lot of older players and we have the 2 spot on lock...I don't see what the big deal...when you get a ticket to any event there is no guarantee that you will get someone 100. % effort

Lol basketball arenas should start giving discounts to the tickets when spurs coming to their town

This is basically when you go to the concert, there are two main artists and one decides to abandon this shyt because he's tired
.

Spurs like the Wu when they're on tour in Europe :mjlol:

Yep that's what happens when you go to a nba game sometimes.

Also the spurs are old:yeshrug:

Me and @yeaimcanadian bought tix to the Spurs game down in Orlando months in advance and had the starters not played, then I still would have went and enjoyed myself. I'm a fan of the TEAM, doesn't matter who's on the floor :yeshrug:

I hear what you saying here, as a fan of the team you going to go and support your team, but I got to agree with MJ Truth on this and I'm surprised the league has let this kind of stuff go on as long as it has. I don't see how sitting players out a game in March is going to help them in May. I would really have to see some extensive study that shows the tangible benefits of these "maintenance" plans and how they correlate to long term success. If guys are healthy, they need to be out there on the court. Even if they have to treat it like preseason football and just play the starters for a quarter, it's not a good product for the consumers to have players sitting out just because.

I'm not saying he or yall are wrong, I just dont have a problem with it is how I view it. Not because i'm a Spurs fan, but because they dont have to play players bwcause it satisfies the payinf customer. The thing is, Spurs arent the only team to do this or the first team to do it, they just bold enough to tell you they resting players and not hiding it like other teams will do by saying player is "injured". If it is a strategy they wanna do thinking it gives them the best chance to win LONG term, how can you fault them or attempt to penalize them?

Yep just because it says "injured" next to a player name doesn't mean he's really injured.

If a player says he has a hurt ankle even if he's faking, what can the nba do about it:mjlol:

and why nobody respects them or even remembers there titles :yeshrug:

I doubt they care...plus who the hell doesn't remember their last ring against the heat and the aas beating they gave...plus the league and players respect them who gives a shyt about ignorant fans. If they didn't have respect David West wouldn't have left so much money on the table to join them I don't see players doing that for the clippers or okc

Watch OKC get embarrassed by Green, Diaw and Anderson.

Durant can have another 20 point game and Westbrook can have his triple double. All that "Stat Padding" nonsense don't hold any weight if they can't beat the Spurs or Warriors.

Call two players putting up amazing numbers nightly "stat padding" when if said players don't put up amazing numbers nightly their team will lose, brehs

What do you want the league to do I swear society is a bunch of whiners...all ways want others to be forced to do something...of all the issues going on in the league I'm not seeing where this a huge concern
