The biggest elephant in the room is that Dre never really cared for Warren musically and never really looked out for him. They've only had like one song together in 30 years (Game Dont Wait Remix that Dre produced in 1999).

They were more stepbrothers in name than anything and you can tell they weren't really that close outside of their parents marrying.

Dre basically stood back while Suge nem constantly tried to punk Warren at every chance since day one at Death Row. You NEVER heard about Dre sticking up for him.

If you listen to Warren's interviews he basically say all this about Dre without saying as respectful as he can.

That nikka Dre dont even stick up for his kids and left everybody on the label stuck. He aint gonna do nothing for Warren :russ:

Sober Noreaga is so much better than Sloppy Drunk Noreaga. That and the 100 coffees have him hyper focused :russ:

Whats he talking about fasting? Glad to hear he's taking care of his health in that respect as this podcast is wild intoxicating. Probably one of the best eps yet and Warren kept it 100.

I feel like some of you are reading too much into his and Dre's relationship... I've said before that I don't like the way Dre subliminally tries to lil bro him even as a grown ass man as if the work he put in ain't worth shyt compared to his but as far as looking out for dude... Dre himself is a punk and couldn't stick up for himself at Death Row which is why he even got the fukk out of Dodge in the first place. I mean, Dre barely looks out for his own children. Warren always had people on his side back then and, at the end of the day, he should be able to stand on his own two. Ultimately I don't really feel like there's no love lost between the two.

i know he didn’t drink the last two episodes, but did he stop completely?

This was a great interview btw.

It does seem that way. His whole style was different and for the better in terms of the interview with this session.

When I heard him mention he was fasting it clicked with the not drinking and I wondered if he was detoxing because all these pods must be quite intense on his liver etc... If he's been doing extended fasts all the way through from the last few eps then that is pretty amazing as it takes a heck of a lot of discipline.

This was a great episode. Nore was on point and Warren is super chill with the stories. Love how he tells everything without putting the extras on it. Also didn’t know Warren was still as thugged out as he was lol. Low key didn’t get as much work as I needed to get done with this episode. Usually I can play it in the background but found myself sitting in listening in more than other episodes.
