This Dj is as good as anything on The Chronic, and Ain’t No Fun is the best song on Doggystyle.
Either way no one is saying Dre didn’t add something additional to make The Chronic why it is, the crux of the argument is Warren G also added something he should be credited for which he never has been.

I do think Warren should def get credit for whatever ideas he had with Dre.
But Warren aint Dre...People love to talk about what they did for someone else that they could never do for themselves.

I always bring up an inverse example when we talk about " Producers vs beatmakers" in Hip hop.
I tell people this all the time : Q-TIP IS THE ACTUAL OVERALL PRODUCER ON MOST OF "THE INMFAMOUS".
Havoc was just a BEAT MAKER at the time
When you research how that album was put together EVERYONE admits that Tip came in rearranged tracks and changed the drums on almost EVERY SONG and that those changes made the WHOE FEEL of the album BIGGER.
He also mixed the tracks to sound much more cleaner and professional than P and Havocs first album did.
I'm glad Tip just wanted to help P and Hav and not take to much credit, BUT HE PRODUCED THE INFAMOUS IMO
Shyt would have been another "juvenile Hell" without him and hip-hop fans don't understand that difference.

Dre owes Warren a lot tbh. His whole legacy is literally built off Warren. The whole death row was Warren's connections. When Dre tried to do it without them, he fell the fukk off and had to go back to them.

i mean to be fair he said he was hitting them up during the super bowl, there were surprise performances so many times producers will tell people no phones permitted etc. during the show
