its fun to gossip but shyt like this just makes me sad. not referring to warren specifically, but we only have so much time on this earth. why waste it fighting and beefing? dr dre has more money than god, he could squash it in five seconds lol.

but yknow i dont know these dudes personally. it might be deeper than just contract shyt. its just a shame because these dudes just work well together, like peanut butter and jelly (or for ones who know... apricot preserves). imagine dre getting all the chronic survivors in the studio and coming up with some new shyt. that would be amazing!

rock bands do this stuff, why dont rappers??

Dre left them nikkas stranded on Death Row when he just bounced on them without telling them in 96 after they revived his solo career with The Chronic.

Warren should have seen right there something about his character
Why does he have to tell anyone he was leaving

So he can fight with suge for decades more?

Suge even tried to extort Dre once he got em rolling

I just don’t get why you have to be joined at the hip with other men forever just because you made some music that was great for a lil while of time

Rappers don’t do it because

Now the wave is taking your business to these podcast and interviews

Saying things you can’t take back

We still don’t know why Pete rock won’t work with CL any more

But it’s a reason

Life goes on

I know it would make a great story but I’m not the same guy I was in 97

youre 100% correct here but people can squash the beef if they really want to

i wish old school rappers would band together somehow to demand the same respect classic rock gets

my fantasy (no dame) would be a classic rap radio station in every town. shyt man they replay eric clapton 5011 times a day on classic rock radio but i cant hear the fat boys anywhere but youtube and my cassette collection. fukk that

seriously its 2025 who the fukk wants to listen to grand funk railroad and sammy hagar all day? these classic rock radio stations are ass.

idk man maybe its too late for that in the first place. the closest i can get is 105.3 kjamz in tulsa on the weekend when the DJ spins old school shyt. i discovered it by accident while driving and scanning the radio. 'born to roll' by masta ace was on fm radio and i damn near wrecked my car in shock hahaha

They all felt a way about it too. There’s unreleased tracks of dogg pound dissing Dre

Ain't no fun-Warren G
Let me Ride-Warren G.

Dre did his step brother dirty time after time. But when money or women are involved no ties are sacred and Warren hopefully learned that lesson early in his career.

Dog Dre was flat out broke leaving Ruthless..Them nikkas gave him new life with The Chronic. They owed more than a sense of being left on the ship to fiend to themselves. Now if there were conversations had and they decided not to go, It's on them but him leaving caught everyone on the label off guard.

And he was a Co owner of the company so it wasn't like he was just a producer there. Dudes had plans mapped out and everything. If not even the rest, At least let Snoop know because that nikka made The Chronic.

Now think about all the people who had NOTHING to do with any of those classics who were invited to be backstage.

THAT’S the messed up part.

Yep, these guys are snakes.

I get all sides of this argument

My thing is

Warren claims to have done all this work on the Chronic.

But my thing is..why does YOUR SHYT not sound like that????

Regulate ..G funk era is a great album...a CLASSIC even.

But I have NEVER heard ANYONE say it's better or on the level of the Chronic.

They always claim they did stuff for Dre...but why they can't do it for themselves on that level?

Either they lying or Dre's sauce IS THE DIFFERENCE

Which is tough for some ppl to swallow
