The phone comment sounds like Warren is talking about the specific day during the Super Bowl. He tried to get back stage and couldn't so he called nikkas to get him and his son and no one answered their phone. I think brehs are taking thar snippet and interpreting it to mean they never answer for him. Snoop got him the Super Bowl tickets so it's clear they have a rapport on some level.

Warren G is still salty over Dre breaking up 213 and stealing TWO of his artists, Snoop and Nate Dogg and making them stars while leaving him to fend for himself.

Dre is a shytty big brother and had a chance to help his little brother, but only took from him.

Warren needs to let it go and realize Snoop is an opportunist and doesn’t care about them being best friends 30+ years ago.
Snoop and Nate signed to death row Warren signed with def jam

Not Dre’s section anymore

It’s just strange to go on a podcast that’s known for BS and wanting to start issues

This podcast BS is not gonna get people closer it’s gonna put a bigger wedge between them

Like when something happens that you don’t like you running to the next podcast that’s gonna get views of talking shyt about others?

I blame DeHaven for popularizing all of this "I just want a conversation!" that's become so prominent in hip-hop culture from disgruntled ex-friends.

These guys aren't obligated to be your friend, and airing out these grievances all over social media is just low class.

That Super Bowl was Dre's coronation moment and the first ever hip-hop Super Bowl performance, the last thing that man needed on his mind was a meet-and-greet with Dre's son.
That and social media's desire to read anything negative about black entertainers.

Not saying this about Warren G, but it could be a fukking janitor and if they have a limited interaction with a past celebrity the video will read

"Former custodian breaks his silence on what he saw at a club Jay-Z used the bathroom in twice"

Ok I gotta respect Snoops mind in this situation because he broke it down to us piece by piece.

Yes u brought me a beat that has hella potential. But if u were to use that beat just the way it is how far would it go? So here's what we're going to do. I'll take the beat, sonically pour life and flavor into it. Give it a cold breakdown. Decide verse/hook placement. Then to ice the cake I'll master this muthufuka to have it sounding and feeling like a brand new handmade Rolls-Royce.

U don't believe someone Dre's musical ears and feel play a significant role in the end product ask Future. Futures engineer passed away in 2017 and right after his music soncially dropped a level or even two. Verses sounding phoned, great songs with bad mixes, and the beats lost that slap they once had. That's why a guy like Dre is needed when u wanna take potential and get everything out of it.
Come on man, if someone builds a house and an interior designer decorates it, the home builder doesn’t deserve credit?

Let these “beat makers” get their publishing, better yet, beat makers need to do a better job of negotiating their publishing and credits for their works.

Why would you want to hang out with a nikka who won’t even take your call?

If you truly didn’t want anything from them you’d take the hint and just write them off as they’ve obviously done you.

Says to me that nikka wants SOMETHING
Y’all boys heartless. Of course he wants something from people he known for over 30 years

Specifically in Dre case he known him as a brother before he was even a teenager. Don’t seem like he saying something specific happened to where the relationship was broken. The man just miss his family

He’s his stepbrother. That’s always key to remember here. That’s a big difference in most households, even when kids grow up together.

Yep

If they grew up together, the “step” would be offensive. However, their parents married when like Dre was 17, which explains why Dre is whatever towards him.

Dre’s vibe is “Yeah you’re cool Warren, but not the type of nygga I’d be around if our parents weren’t married.”
