"....like it or not your fellow hiphop fans are feelng this shyt, doesnt matter if its a different generation, matter of fact it doesnt matter if its a phony push and the innanet blogs is helpin em cheat
...these weirdo nikkas are still hiphop, and hiphop fans are they demographic, and sum hiphop fans may even like some of they songs....the only problem is there are no more elite nikkas in this rap shyt, the elite nikkas seperate the bullshyt from the shyt that should be taken seriously, simply by being elite.....you would see the clear difference between the elite and a lil yachty
....we dont have enough elite nikkas to look to make the weirdos appear as the footnotes they are.
...i take responsibility for helping gangsta rap come in the door and i dont regret it for a second
...some of you are just having buyers remorse

HipHip is over 40 years old now. It started off with young people (the originators) but you can't keep saying that "it's a young mans game" bullshyt anymore.there is a lot of 40+ year old heads that grew up with HipHop and still making rap music.
Rap was a young man's game in the 80's and 90's because the vast majority of mainstream hip-hop was late teens/early 20's. Damn near the entire starting line up wasn't older than 22.
Half the rappers out now are pushing 30, or older than that. That alone means it's not a young man's game. Then you factor in the genre is 40 years old. Then you factor in there isn't really anybody to pass the torch to, even if that was still happening.
Fred.

Did the 90s and 2000's have trash/corny/weird rappers?
sure, but they werent 90% of the mainstream
i knew it was coming and i still chuckledso you're saying we need to......
regulate it

All this separation shyt is just an attempt to try and delay the inevitable. It's to try and make the stuff you like feel more relevant.
It's not gonna actually change anything. It's not gonna make young kids who are driving the culture start liking 16 hard bars again.
