Yeah it will, if they have dignity and self respect

If the max salary is 35, a player might prefer to make 30-32 and win

But if you remove the max and a guy like Durant can get 50 mil from someone, they aren't gonna settle for 30 for a ring

Unless they have no dignity or self respect

With Durant, he's getting 30 mill already from Nike, so in his case if it meant keeping him, Klay, Steph, Dray, and Iggy together, he'd do it. :yeshrug:

Something will happen. Hell, klay might fukking drop off a cliff. But honestly, they should be going for the 3peat now.

What does the league do if a team drafts and grooms three all stars then like the Warriors or Thunder did?
Exactly. A hard cap punishes teams for drafting well like the Seahawks have and how the ravens used to. It doesn't create parity. It just subsidizes mediocrity, and that's never been good for the NBA.

So many things happened to make this team be able to be what they are.

From Steph being forced to sign an undervalued deal. Then becoming the GOAT shooter, which let's them sign Klay and Draymond to even bigger deals

To then, the TV money coinciding with KD's free agency which allows the GOAT regular season team to sign a MVP player and arguably the GOAT scorer.

That's a once in a lifetime situation and they know that.

I expect them to find a way to keep playing together cause they know how special the situation is.

There's like two teams that won titles for drafting well in like the last 20 years

:ehh: I was referring more to the NFL since there's more than 1 round of useful talent in the draft. All these teams can offer similar amounts of money. My big point is that hard caps don't allow teams to reach their max potential and pay the players.

Nobody wants a situation where one team is winning every single year, regardless of how those players were acquired

Durant, Klay, Draymond, and Curry on a team is corny

Love, LeBron, and Kyrie is overkill

We have a 30 team league, and 7 of the top 30 players are split between 2 teams. It's silly.

Also, any new rule the league puts in to try and curve any team from becoming a "superteam" will only benifit the teams that are already "superteams".

Especially GS.

Y'all are overreacting no modern day NBA team is winning 4 straight titles. The Warriors ceiling is 3 rings as a group assuming they win this one. And they probably won't be in a row either
