You say this as if GSW wasn’t going to be in the WCF with a healthy Steph lol

Y’all gotta let it go Kuminga isn’t a star, he’s not someone who you want leading your team. Y’all ain’t learn shyt after championing Poole. If you can’t play with Curry that says a lot
Poole looked great with curry before draymond gave him cte.

The system is great until you realize they’re depending on a 40 year old to run 100 miles. You need something new and athletic. Kuminga or someone else. Not making that work is an indictment on Kerr no matter how you wanna twist.

My point was just like Poole isn’t a star neither is Kuminga. He had one really good season but he’s avg player. It’s why Washington gave up

The fact a guy at his same position came right in and fit flawless with Steph says a lot. Moody who is less physically skilled came in & performed well. He’s been in the league 4+ years & can’t improve on the fundamentals…that’s a problem . His next team won’t care, he’ll start to dwindle & you won’t say a word lol

Moody cannot do anything but be a role player. Catch shoot defend. He can’t create for himself. Him and kuminga don’t really compare. Kuminga is a guy that can score all by himself. Doesn’t work in this system unfortunately. Kerr only wants role players. Not fitting on this roster says nothing about anyone who has ambitions outside of setting screens for curry

Kuminga is a role player. I’m not sure why you fail to see that. Lol

If he’s leading your team you’re in the lottery.

Edit: KD/Jimmy/Klay…. Otto Porter can all work in the system but Kuminga can’t:dead:

Kevin the Gawd Durant and prime Klay..kuminga.
Otto porter…kuminga.
No comparison.
I’m not saying he’s LeBron James. But he would be more with a different situation. Is my point. Kerr don’t develop shyt. He’s not a role player, or Kerr would love him. Podz is better than him? He soured on Klay too when he wanted to start creating.

Kings got cap space though right? Just make him the offer and see if Dubs match

Edit-nevermind, guess they don't

The Warriors and Kuminga have never seemed like a good fit. Kerr won't commit to him and he doesn't exactly look like someone who has star potential when he does get a shot to play. They might as well part ways at this point as it's obvious they don't want him and he doesn't want to be there. Should be pretty easy with that being the case shouldn't it?

If you can't be effective with a staggered court, and out of position defenders recovering to you, or take a shot in the paint without hitting the floor what good are you in the Warriors small ball offense? Can't be undersized and be up 4 on 5 cause your most athletic player like embellishing for fouls and being in recovery as he picks himself up. I don't think a warriors player has been on the ground as much as Duke.

I'd take Monk for Kuminga str8 up if he's on a 2 year contract that matches the rest of the squad

I'm supposed to expect Kuminga to take his game to the next level with Schroeder/LaVine/DeRozan when he couldn't do it playing with Curry.
:unimpressed:

It’s not Curry. It’s the Warriors system and Kerr not appearing to be good at developing young players. Kuminga could take off with a coaching staff that develops young players. That’s why the Warriors want a solid return for him in case he blows up elsewhere.

Teams are getting stingy now with the second apron, can’t make costly mistakes of overpaying questionable players if you aim to be a top franchise. While if you wanna be a clown franchise that Kings are and GSW were, you have little to lose :yeshrug:
