It's crazy how nikkas can say we can't win the championship this year when we have a top 3 scorer along with elite wing defenders and arguably the best defensive center in the league. nikkas acting like DMo and Terrence Jones can't provide post offense. We're elite defensively and offensively and nikkas act like that's not enough.

:manny: it's a Jazz fan blog
Yeah but you posted to help prove some point that you were trying to make about Jackson and that part of the column completely discredits the rest of the article because it shows an agenda on e's side against the other. It's very subjective

I'm saying, by the time of that article was published, I believe Duncan already have three rings. Nobody in their right mind, and damn sure not no majority of any group including the state of Utah, had thoughts of Karl Malone being better than Duncan.

I don't think one dubious homer argument makes the whole article worthless :yeshrug:

It was reported he rubbed people the wrong way because of his religion. Remember those comments he made about praying for Jason Collins? That shyt doesn't go down very well in the Bay.

Not to mention, they didnt' even have Bogut in the playoffs, so they were handicapped.

Either way, this is some petty ass shyt, and you don't have to shyt on him in the media after it's all said and done.

Like you said brotha it is about Mark is a very religious man and the owner wasn't down with that. The owner just cant come out and say itvwas because he was real religious and a preacher. People forget how much those young Kat's improved with mark.

Also the owner is full of shyt because everyone in the league knows Mark don't back down to no one and is a proud religious black dude. shyt like hiring TD Jakes and getting mad cause he talking about Jesus and doing sermons on Sunday.

Also as much as I like that the NBA gives black coaches opportunities it has always been a league that likes to hire black coaches to build up young teams and then get rid of then to hire the white coach after the black coach has taken them from ceiler dwealer to playoffs.

Another thing when evaluating a young team that has improved every year (and made the playoffs) then they bring in a new coach I don't always give the new coach that much credit because often times these are ready made teams.

These teams are on a constant trajectory and the players are improving every year because they have not hit their primes. So the rebuttal is always how do we know that team would not have improved with the original coach. shyt they improved every year with the old coach.

Last if the warriors underachieve in the playoffs watch Curry and Thompson get the heat while Kerr won't even get called out by the media.

AND they'll lose in the 1st or 2nd round again aND somehow the narrative will be how they're still learning how to play under Kerr. And that they haven't been able to get away from the way Jackson ran things.

:rudy:

There you go brotha. Excellent point and you hit the nail on the head. They will use that excise for the next 3 years. shyt they used that excuse Memphis last year even with all the injuries.

what the hell? no they dont :russ:

offense is lightyears better

What's different about their offense? The big difference in their offense from this year to last is the improvement of Klay. He was inconsistent as hell last year and far too often didn't look to drive the ball to the basket. This year he is playing way more consistent. Not only that but everybody seems to forget how hot they started off last year as well. Not as hot as this year but people were talking about them being title contenders early last year until injuries to Iggy.

Plus they still turn the ball over too much this year and having an extra distributor in Livingston off the bench is huge as well since they were desparate for that last year. They tried Jordan Crawford, Blake, and somebody else but never foudn that consistent player off the bench to spell Steph.

Statistically what's the biggest difference between Klay's stats from last year?

1) mark jackson wasnt a good coach. his rotations were awful, he had way too many players running isos(lol @ all the isos barnes got), depended far too heavily on Curry, never ran GREEN enough, and was pretty much a poor man's doc rivers.

2) fukk this owner. if your team wasnt on a 11 game win streak you wouldnt be saying shyt. fukk off with all this talk about the organization notliking him at all and yet you're pretending it was a "tough decision" and "close call". he was gone before the playoffs ended, the choice had already been made. this guy is a sneak.

He lying.

Another attempt by the Jew man to put his foot on the throat of the righteous black man.

If you expect me too believe he gave Mark as much leeway as he's given to Kerr then you're smoking dope.

What does he being Jewish have to do with anything?

He's putting up 3 more points a game in two less minutes, Shooting better from 3. Rebounds, assists, percentages are all up across the board. Not only that but more importantly he's become a nightly factor. Look at his game logs from early last year and there were a lot more spikes and a lot more games where he only put up 10-15 points on poor shooting. He's a hell of a lot more consistent this year and in my mind the main difference between this year and last year's team.

He got better every year. He got that extension based on what he did last year and his potential.

I agree. I'm a Klay fan and love his game. I'm just saying I don't necessarily agree that Kerr's coaching is what made the difference between this year and last. I believe Klay's improvement is the biggest difference yet everybody is crediting it to Kerr.

If anything playing in the FIBA games this summer made him better.
